Pita-Ten
>>1562You could have found a better resolution.
>>1566 If you're so much better at finding pics at better resolutions then by all means post a better version. But maybe the pic is nice anyway because no one else said anything of that nature.Anyway, I'll see if I can get a friend to show me how to edit pics. I'd like a better version too.

Here it is. Most of the Pita Ten scans are available on the eDonkey network, so it's not necessary to below yourself on hierarchical anime sites.
Spoiler: This Never Happens!
Huge Ribbons! Huge!
Damn, she's pretty cute. Source?
I don't recognize the character specifically, but the artwork is the mid-90's NEC/Konami style. There were a lot of Dating Sim games from that time period, many of which had anime spinoffs. I am sure this character is from one of these. I would check those usual suspects from that time period: Tokimeki Memorial (or it's numerous sequels), Sentimental Graffiti, Dokyusei ("classmates"), etc.

Source: Dokyuusei 2Character designed by Masaki TakeiThese two particular pictures however, were drawn by Rin-Sin, if i am not mistaken.Personally, I like this style better than moe underage with soft shading everywhere. To my knowledge, the last active artist with this particular drawing style is Horibe Hidero, but unfortunately he died in 2008 due a heart attack...

oh yeah, in case someone wondering: The black haired girl is named Yui, a childhood friend of the main protagonist. The other is Karen, an idol
I agree that this art stile is quite nice.It seems that mainstream Anime/game art tends to follow general trends. This particular style was very common in the early/mid 90's but as computers become more prevalent in animation it seems to have declined. In the late 90's everyone was copying Gainax. Now we've got the aforementioned moe-loli permeating most things.
